My name is Sandra, nicknamed Solyndra (pronunciation: [sɔlɪndrɑ]). I’m a 21 year old Dutch girl who majors in German at university, and takes a minor in business economics. For my studies I spent a semester abroad, studying in Vienna (hence the Best Of Vienna posts). I have a slight obsession with reading, and books in general. I’m terrible with keeping up with television series (the only exception seems to be Asian dramas) but I love movies. I love collecting things. I love going out to the theatre every once in a while, though cinemas keep me well entertained if there’s nothing playing that I like.

The story behind my username: I very much love Thor , which has grown into a long-running joke between me and my friends of me being his girlfriend (x), and then I ended up cosplaying as Thor for the Avengers premiere.. hence a Thor-inspired username.

I have a big interest in various things, that will show up at some point on this Tumblr, like:
- Disney, the no. 1 love of my life;
- Studio Ghibli movies;
- SHINee (my bias = Jonghyun);
- Arthurian legend, Norse mythology, the Middle Ages in general;
- various book series, such as Harry Potter, The Lord Of The Rings, A Song Of Ice & Fire and accompanying movies/tv-series;
- Kickass ladies of all sorts (bonus points if they’re achers): favourite lady at the moment = Gemma Arterton;
- Musicals, mostly German or Austrian ones, occasional other theatre stuff;
- Stuff of my favourite tv-shows: (New) Doctor Who by RTD, Merlin, Game Of Thrones.. and these days, mostly Asian dramas.
